This pathfinder is intended to guide learners unfamiliar with the American presidents through their research. This can help begin serious research, or just provide an overview depending on the user’s curiosity.
To the best of my ability, I have selected sources straight from the government or the president himself, in an attempt to avoid negative bias from the president’s opponents. The researcher can decide for themselves what to believe by using primary sources, government resources, and artifacts of the time period.
On each president’s page, you will find a brief biography of the president from whitehouse.gov, along with further research sources and topics. The White House biography is to help build your knowledge base before you begin your research. The further resources are there to deepen your understanding and provide additional details.
